A fun thrifted DIY Christmas tree box!
I wanted to pop in today and share a quite and easy Christmas DIY with you!
While we were in Branson last month I found this cute little wooden box with a rope tied to it at a thrift shop. It even came with the pinecones! I paid $10 for it and brought it home. It’s been sitting in a corner of my kitchen while I thought about what to do with it!

I’ve really been into matte black lately, so I decided to paint it with Valspar’s Chalky Paint in Boot Black. With Christmas being just around the corner, I thought it would be fun to add a green tree on both sides and add it to my Christmas décor!
I already had the tree stencil from another project using my Cricut so all I needed was the paint.

I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased some green craft paint for the tree. I used spray adhesive to hold the stencil in place while I painted the tree on.
And here it is all finished! Simple and cute, this little box was a fun addition to our Christmas décor and the free pinecones were the icing on the cake!
I hope you are enjoying this season! For more on our home, visit me on Instagram!
