Your family will LOVE this recipe for Pizza Spaghetti!
I have a new recipe to share with you today and it’s SOOO good!
When we lived in western Kansas there was a group of us (sweet friends that felt more like family!) that got together every Sunday after church for lunch.
At first, we all ate out together, but once we started adding kids to the equation we decided it would be easier to switch off having it our houses each week.
We rotated between three houses. The person hosting made the main dish and everyone else brought sides, dessert, and drinks. It was fun to get to try all the different delicious dishes from each family! There were some great cooks in that group!
There were two meals I made that they requested over and over – BBQ meatballs and Pizza Spaghetti. It was definitely a favorite and the kids loved it, too, which is always a win!
The best part is, this meal is super easy to make and it feeds a lot!
Start by boiling your pasta. Toss it with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and chopped onion. You can also used dried minced onion flakes.
Layer the pasta in a 9×13 greased glass dish. Top with a jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce.
Place pepperonis in a single layer on top of the tomato sauce. Sprinkle with mushroom pieces. Not all of my family likes mushrooms so I usually only put it on half.
Then comes the best part – all the cheese! Spread the shredded cheese evenly over the mushroom layer. Then bake in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes!
Serve with a Caesar salad and some garlic bread! Yum!
I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Let me know what you think in the comments!
Pepperoni Pizza Spaghetti

- 1 pkg. pepperoni
- 8 oz. can of mushroom pieces and stems
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x13 glass dish.
Toss cooked spaghetti with melted butter and onion until thoroughly mixed. Spread evenly in a glass dish.
Layer the remaining ingredients: tomato sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, and top with cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly. Enjoy!
Variations: If you’re not a fan of pepperoni you can always substitute sausage or hamburger or just extra cheese!
