Good morning friends! Today I want to share this bathroom cabinet makeover with you! My brother and his wife recently remodeled their bathroom and asked me if I wanted this cabinet for anything. I gladly accepted!
It sat in my garage for about a month until I found some vintage knobs at my local antique store and they got me thinking about what I could do with the cabinet. I decided to turn it into storage for gardening supplies!
I had some leftover CeCe Caldwell chalk paint in Nantucket Spray that I thought would look cute with the ivory knobs. It’s kind of a mint color.
I started by wiping the cabinet down to get all the dust off from sitting in the garage. Then I removed the old knobs and plastic pieces that covered the screws.
Time for paint! This is what it looked like after two coats. Chalk paint dries really fast so by the time I was done with the first coat, it was ready for a second. I let it sit overnight.
I attached the vintage knobs and just like that it was ready to be hung!
It turned out pretty cute and we can store our small gardening tools and gloves in there for when we’re working on our garden like we will be this weekend! We’re cleaning out the old plants to finish planting our fall garden. The pumpkins were planted in August and are already growing like crazy! And our peppers and okra are still going strong so those will stay a little longer!
Anyway, hope you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!
