Yesterday was my oldest son’s birthday. He turned 11. I can’t believe he came out a 6 lb. 11. oz. baby and is now as big as me! Time sure does go by fast! For his birthday he requested Cookie Dough Brownies instead of a cake. If you love chocolate chip cookies and brownies, you will LOVE this dessert. It’s so rich and practically melts in your mouth! Of course, I was more than willing to whip up a batch of these for him!
Then I got to thinking about all of the recipes I’ve discovered on Pinterest over the years. I’ve tried a lot and even have a board called “Recipes: Success!” where I’ve pinned all of the recipes we’ve tested and love. Today I decided it would be fun to share some of the ones we love the most – the ones we continue to make over and over again. I hope you enjoy!

Cookie Dough Brownies
I’ll start with Cookie Dough Brownies. I found this recipe on Pinterest and it’s from the blog Dinner then Dessert. The author, Sabrina, is a trained chef. My photo doesn’t do it justice (photographing food is NOT easy, I’m still working on this lol!) so be sure to head over to her site and check out the full recipe with mouth-watering pictures!
Beef Meatballs in Mushroom Gravy
Next up is this recipe for Beef Meatballs in Mushroom Gravy from Sweet and Savory. Shinee shares her made-from-scratch recipes on her blog, including this delicious gem! So yummy over mashed potatoes and served with a side of your favorite veggie! This is comfort food at its best and with the weather turning cool, it’s perfect! I’ll definitely be making it again soon!
Cheese Crusted Lasagna Soup
If you love soups and you love lasagna, you have to give this Cheese Crusted Lasagna Soup a try! From the blog, Finding Joy in My Kitchen, it takes my favorite Italian food and turns it into soup! The recipe calls for Italian sausage, which gives a kick to it that we enjoy, but you could always substitute it for ground beef if you’re not a fan.
Braided Spaghetti Bread
YUM! This recipe features Rhodes bread dough and you can find it on their blog Out of the Oven. If it’s Rhodes, you know it’s good, am I right? From their dinner rolls to their cinnamon rolls, you can’t go wrong. And this spaghetti bread recipe is no different! You will love it and your kids will, too!
Ham and Cheese Pull-Apart
This Ham and Cheese Pull-Apart from Kraft is one of my easy go-to lunches. Use homemade or store bought bread, switch the ham out for turkey (or use both!), or use Swiss or provolone cheese instead of cheddar! I leave off the Italian dressing, but you may love it! So many ways to customize this recipe and it’s super simple to make!
Mom’s Zucchini Bread
This recipe for Mom’s Zucchini Bread is THE BEST. It’s featured on allrecipes.com and it is the seriously the most delicious zucchini bread you’ll ever have. My kids love when I make it and it freezes really well so I try to make a big batch when I do.
S’mores Cookie Bars
This last recipe I’m sharing is from the blog Lovin’ from the Oven and if you’re a fan of s’mores, you’ll love what the author, Amanda, came up with! These S’mores Cookie Bars are to die for! It’s one of my hubby’s favorite recipes. You can avoid the typical sticky s’mores mess by using a fork, or throw caution to the wind and dive in! So yummy!
Well, I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for stopping by today! Have you found a recipe on Pinterest that you love? Share in the comments!
